A lot of five (5) individually authenticated autographs featuring figures from Major League Baseball and American film. Each item has been verified and certified by James Spence Authentication (JSA). The collection includes the following pieces:
Ralph Houk Autograph: Former Major League Baseball catcher and manager for the New York Yankees. The signature is in blue ink on a torn scrap of lined paper mounted to a white card. JSA Certification No. CF97760.
Ralph Branca Autograph: Three-time All-Star pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Signed in black ink on a rectangular white paper slip mounted to a white card. JSA Certification No. CF97744.
Joe Dugan Autograph: Known as Jumpin Joe, he was a New York Yankees third baseman during the 1920s. The signature is inscribed Best Wishes Jumpin Joe Dugan in blue ink on a cream card. JSA Certification No. CF97741.
Martin Sheen Autograph: Celebrated American actor known for Apocalypse Now and The West Wing. Signed as M. Sheen in black ink on a yellow paper scrap featuring a Malibu, California return address, mounted on a white card. JSA Certification No. CF97771.
Bob Watson Autograph: Two-time MLB All-Star and former executive. Inscribed Lisa all the Best Bob Watson in blue ink on a white card. JSA Certification No. CF97752.
Each autograph is accompanied by a corresponding JSA Basic Certification card and features a matching tamper-evident oval sticker. The certification cards are co-branded with CGC (Certified Guaranty Company).
Condition report:
The autographs are presented on various paper media including torn scraps, cut slips, and cards. All signatures are bold and well-preserved. Minor age-related toning is present on several of the paper elements. Overall condition is consistent with the materials used and careful preservation.
