BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This is a complete 1983 Donruss baseball card base set consisting of 660 cards. The collection features the full run of base cards, the Diamond Kings subset, and the Hall of Fame Ty Cobb puzzle pieces. Key rookie cards included within this set are Tony Gwynn (card number 598), Wade Boggs (card number 586), and Ryne Sandberg (card number 595).
The majority of the cards are housed in their original, clear plastic factory-wrapped bricks inside the storage box. A small section at the end of the box contains loose cards and puzzle pieces, secured with a rubber band. Sample cards shown outside of the packaging for reference include card number 606 Osvaldo Jose Virgil, card number 551 Robert Jose Watson, and Diamond Kings card number 1 Fernando Valenzuela.
The set is housed in its original white corrugated cardboard storage box. The top of the box is printed in blue ink with the Donruss logo featuring crossed bats and a baseball, along with the text BASEBALL PUZZLE & CARDS. One end panel of the box features handwritten ink markings reading 1983 Complete and 83 in black and red marker.
Condition report:
The cards appear to be in uncirculated Near Mint to Mint condition, with most remaining sealed in their original factory shrink-wrap bands. The loose sample cards exhibit sharp corners, clean edges, and typical centering variance characteristic of the 1983 Donruss printing run. The original cardboard storage box shows significant age-related yellowing, foxing, and staining, along with typical shelf wear to the corners and edges. The box remains structurally sound, with hand-written ink annotations on one end.
