BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This lot features a pair of 1992 Maxx Race Cards 5th Anniversary Edition collector sets, providing a retrospective of NASCAR trading cards from 1988 through 1992. Each set is housed in a dedicated black vinyl three-ring binder featuring gold-stamped lettering on the front cover and spine. These are limited edition sets with sequential serial numbers printed on the spines: No 011748 and No 011749. The interior of the open binder contains nine-pocket protective sheets housing the complete card series. Notable cards visible include Larry Phillips #300 (1991 National Champion), drivers Joe Ruttman, Tom Peck, Phil Barkdoll, Rick Bickle, Charlie Glotzbach, Robert Presley, Jack Sprague, and David Green, as well as crew chiefs Buddy Parrott, Doug Williams, Jimmy Fennig, Clyde McLeod, Leonard Wood, and Steve Loyd. One binder remains factory-sealed in its original shrink-wrapped slipcase, while the other is open for display. Condition report:
The cards in the open set appear to be in Excellent to Near-Mint condition, exhibiting sharp corners and clean surfaces as viewed through the protective sleeves. The open binder shows minor shelf wear and light surface scuffing to the black vinyl. The second set remains in its original factory shrink wrap; the plastic wrap shows some scuffing, clouding, and small tears consistent with age, though the internal binder and cards are protected.
