This collection features multiple sets and groups of 1992 Richard Petty Fan Appreciation Tour promotional trading cards. The trading cards were produced by MPA Inc. of Randleman, North Carolina, to commemorate Richard Petty’s final cup season. The cards are sponsored by Food Lion and STP, featuring prominent logos for both brands. Included are multiple clear plastic storage cases filled with cards, alongside two large groups of loose, fanned-out cards. Designated as the Authorized Signature Edition, the cards display facsimile signatures of Richard Petty. The cards showcase various subsets, such as the Daytona, Florida event from February and the Bristol, Tennessee event from August. Design elements include a red background with checkered flag side borders.
