BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A collection of four vintage mid-20th-century autographed promotional photographs and postcards featuring various entertainers. The collection includes one black and white promotional photograph of actress Shelley Winters featuring two separate handwritten inscriptions: one in black ink reading With affection Shelley Winters and a larger one in blue ink reading To Kelly Shelley Winters. Also included is a vintage sepia-toned promotional photo card of Mickey Carvel, signed Mickey in ink across the subject’s lapel with the printed name Mickey Carvel at the bottom right. A vintage sepia-toned promotional photo card of musician Lee Vincent depicts him with a double bass, signed Lee Vincent in ink over the instrument with the printed name Lee Vincent at the bottom right. The final item is a vintage sepia-toned promotional photo card of Ray English, signed in blue ink To Jack & Cathy Best of everything – Always Ray English. The lot is accompanied by a James Spence Authentication Basic Certification card with certification number CH61055, and a matching JSA authentication sticker with the same number is affixed to the reverse of the Shelley Winters postcard.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition overall. There is minor surface and edge wear consistent with age, including slight silvering on the Shelley Winters photograph and typical toning and minor discoloration on the reverses of the older cards. The signatures remain clear and legible.
