BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! An autographed, double-sided, handwritten letter on light blue Bender Studios letterhead, written and signed by American cartoonist Jack Bender. The letter is addressed to Clinton and provides biographical details of Bender’s cartooning career. Within the text, Bender discusses the merger of United Feature Service and Newspaper Enterprise Association to form United Media, taking over the Alley Oop comic strip in 1991 after Dave Graue retired, collaborating with former MAD magazine cartoonist Don Martin on the comic strip The Nutheads from 1989 to 1992, and his 22-year tenure as a political cartoonist in Iowa. The letter is signed on the reverse side as My best, Jack Bender. The letterhead features cartoon illustrations along the left margin and printed addresses for Brookside and Lakeview locations, with a copyright date of 1999. The item is accompanied by a James Spence Authentication JSA Basic Certification card and a matching tamper-evident oval sticker with certification number CF97803 affixed to the upper right corner of the reverse side of the letter.

Condition report:
Very good condition overall. The paper shows standard horizontal mailing folds. The black ink handwriting remains bold and legible with no fading. There are no significant tears, stains, or creases.
