BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This lot consists of a first printing of Batman issue #423, published by DC Comics in September 1988. The cover features signature artwork by Todd McFarlane, identified by his stylized signature within a bat-shaped logo in the upper right quadrant. The illustration depicts Batman holding a figure within the expansive folds of a blue and black cape, set against a large yellow moon and a red sky. The left margin of the cover credits Jim Starlin, Dave Cockrum, and Mike DeCarlo. The issue has a 75 cent cover price and features a promotional text box in the lower right corner that reads DC Comics Aren’t Just For Kids!.
