This lot consists of 10 Marvel comic books featuring the Sub-Mariner, Prince Namor, spanning release dates from 1972 to 1989. The collection includes three issues from the 1988 limited series The Saga of the Sub-Mariner: issue 1 (November 1988) with cover art by Rich Buckler, and issues 11 and 12 (September and October 1989) featuring cover art by Rich Buckler and Bob McLeod. Issue 12 is designated as the series finale. The lot features the premiere issue of the 1984 limited series Prince Namor, The Sub-Mariner (September 1984) with cover art by Bob Budiansky and Bob Wiacek. Also included are four issues from the 1979-1980 Tales to Astonish starring the Sub-Mariner reprint series: three copies of issue 1 (December 1979) and one copy of issue 4 (March 1980). Rounding out the collection is a single Bronze Age issue of Sub-Mariner volume 1, issue 54 (October 1972), featuring the Sea-Devil with cover art attributed to Gil Kane. All items are raw, ungraded copies housed in individual protective bags with backer boards.

Condition report:

The collection generally presents in mid-to-high grade condition. The 1980s issues show minor shelf wear, including slight corner softening and occasional spine stress marks visible through the bags. The Tales to Astonish reprints are in mid-to-high grade; one copy of issue 1 has a price sticker on the exterior bag or cover. The 1972 issue 54 displays more significant wear consistent with a mid-grade assessment, including visible spine stress, color breaks, and corner rounding.
