This collection consists of 14 comic books from the Marvel Comics eight-issue limited series Fallen Angels, published in 1987. The lot contains multiple copies of various issues but does not include issue number 6. The group includes four copies of issue 1 (three Direct Edition copies and one Newsstand Edition), which features the first appearance of the Fallen Angels team and the character Ariel. Also included is one Direct Edition copy of issue 2, which contains the first appearance of Bill and Don. The remainder of the collection consists of one Direct Edition copy of issue 3, one Direct Edition copy of issue 4, three copies of issue 5 (one Direct Edition and two Newsstand Editions), two Direct Edition copies of issue 7, and two copies of issue 8 (one Direct Edition and one Newsstand Edition). Cover art for the series is credited to Kerry Gammill and Tom Palmer, with signatures visible on the front covers. Condition report:
The comics are in raw, unslabbed condition, generally appearing to be in Mid-to-High Grade. Visible wear includes minor spine stress lines, light surface scuffing to some covers, and slightly blunted corners consistent with age and handling. Several protective bags retain vintage retail price stickers. No detached covers, significant tears, or moisture damage were observed during inspection.
