An assortment of comic book collectibles featuring characters from the Marvel and DC Comics universes. The group includes three vintage 45 RPM book and record sets: Power Records PR24 The Amazing Spider-Man (1974), Power Records PR27 Batman (1975), and Peter Pan Records PR-34 Superman (1978). A boxed X-Men Interactive CD-ROM Comic Book produced by Toy Biz (Item No. 48230) features the first issue on disc along with digital games and animation. The lot includes a trade paperback edition of Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka Volume 1 published by DC Comics. A Danielle Moonstar plastic action figure in 6-inch scale is present along with several accessories, including a bow, alternate character heads and hands, and parts for a Warlock Build-A-Figure. Memorabilia includes a lithographed metal Thor: The Dark World sign with its protective film, five vintage pinback buttons featuring Batman, Robin, The Riddler, and Paul McCartney, and three lithographed metal clip-on tabs featuring comic strip characters Skeezix, Moon Mullins, and Kayo. One Superman trading card from the DC Firepower series is also included.
Condition report:
The items are in varied, used condition. The vintage book and record sets show typical shelf wear, including edge creasing and corner rubbing. The X-Men CD-ROM box is intact with minor corner blunting and a partial retail price sticker. The Danielle Moonstar figure is loose and is accompanied by detached accessories. The vintage pinback buttons and metal tabs exhibit minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age. The Thor metal sign appears in good condition and retains a protective film sticker.
