BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Pair of Vintage Native American Style Figurines by Universal Statuary Corp and Homco

This lot consists of a pair of late 20th-century Native American-themed figurines. The first is a male figurine produced by Universal Statuary Corp, depicting a hunter or warrior standing on a rocky terrain base. The figure holds a bow and carries a quiver on his back containing red, green, and white feathered arrows. He is dressed in a breechcloth and moccasins, accented with a turquoise-colored necklace and two feathers in his hair. The side of the base is incised with the marks UNIVERSAL STATUARY CORP CHICAGO 1976 431. The second is a female figurine manufactured by Homco, depicting a woman carrying an infant in a traditional cradleboard on her back. She holds a shallow bowl filled with yellow grain and is dressed in a textured teal-colored top and a long white skirt with a decorative hem. She stands on a light-colored rocky base incised with a mountain and flower logo and the text © 1980 ® HOMCO. The figurines are constructed from hand-painted cast composite and bisque porcelain.

Condition report:

Both figurines are in good vintage condition. The male figure shows minor surface wear and small spots of paint loss, notably on the right arm. The female figure exhibits minor surface scuffing and small dark marks on the base. Both items have remnants of adhesive or felt on the undersides of their bases from a previous lining.
