BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This lot consists of three hand-signed items, each authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) with an accompanying Basic Certification card. The first item is a vintage paper cut signed by Francis Thomas (1799 to 1876), who served as the 26th Governor of Maryland and a U.S. Representative. The signature is executed in brown ink and includes the inscription Francis Thomas, Frederick, Maryland along with a marginal notation reading No R 1548. The second item is an off-white index card signed in blue ink by Chuck Tanner (1928 to 2011), the Major League Baseball player and legendary manager who led the Pittsburgh Pirates to a World Series victory in 1979. The third item is a promotional card for The Oliver North Show on The Common Sense Radio Network, signed by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North (b. 1943). This card features a personalized inscription in blue ink reading: To Steven with all the very best. Oliver North. Each item is paired with a corresponding JSA Basic Certification card bearing serial numbers CH61038, CK13281, and CK13247.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall excellent condition. The Francis Thomas cut shows light, age-appropriate toning to the paper but the ink remains clear and legible. The Chuck Tanner index card and Oliver North promotional card are in crisp condition with sharp corners and no visible creasing or staining. All items have been stored and presented in a well-maintained state.
