BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Seven Novelty Gold Foil Banknotes Featuring G.I. Joe, Transformers, The Smurfs, and Cinematic Characters
A collection of seven novelty banknotes and graphic cards featuring various pop culture and cinematic themes. Each item is constructed from a flexible polymer base coated in a gold-colored metallic foil with embossed and printed graphics. Six of the items are designed in the style of the United States 100 dollar bill. These six notes bear the common serial number GOLD 99999999 and feature facsimile signatures of Timothy F. Geithner and Rosa Gumataotao Rios, along with standard Federal Reserve Note inscriptions.
The collection includes two G.I. Joe themed notes, one featuring the character Duke and the other featuring Scarlett, both with the G.I. Joe logo and group portraits on the reverse. Two Transformers themed notes are present, one featuring an Autobot character and logo, and the other a Decepticon character and logo, with group character depictions on the reverse sides. One Smurfs themed note features a central Smurf character and a village scene on the reverse. One DC Comics Justice League note features the character Cyborg on the obverse and the full Justice League lineup under the text IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse.
The final item is a specialty horror-themed graphic card. The obverse features Billy the Puppet from the Saw franchise, captioned John Kramer, alongside a group portrait of horror icons including Ghostface, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Chucky, presented under a parody FRIENDS logo. The reverse of this card mimics a magazine cover for THE WRAP titled 20 Years of Murder and Mayhem, dated September 29, 2023, and includes an alphanumeric grid panel.
Condition report:
All items are in excellent, uncirculated condition. There are no visible creases, tears, surface scratches, or signs of wear to the metallic foil coating. Edges are sharp and the printed colors remain vibrant.
