ITEM DESCRIPTION: US Philatelic Eisenhower and Chaplains Collection
This collection features US philatelic materials including First Day Covers, souvenir sheets, and postage stamps focused on Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Four Chaplains. Several commemorative programs and envelopes from 1990 bear signatures reading Bob Hope and Gerald R. Ford. Additional items include 1948 plate blocks, Eisenhower Centennial issues, and price stickers reading 4.50 and 1.50. Most items are housed in protective clear sleeves.
Condition report:
Minor age-appropriate toning is present on the 1948 philatelic materials (Photo 15). The 1990 centennial items and signed programs show no visible surface faults (Photo 2). Protective plastic sleeves exhibit minor surface scratches and handling wear (Photo 1). Adhesive price labels are present on several plastic sleeves (Photo 21).
