Lot 829:
Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of US Washington Silver Quarters in a Littleton Album and Two Aluminum Transport Cases
This lot features a collection of United States Washington Quarters dating from 1932 to 1967, housed in a green Littleton Archival Quality binder. The coins are of 90 percent silver composition and include specimens from the Philadelphia, Denver (D), and San Francisco (S) mints. Key dates and mint marks are represented, including the 1932-D and 1932-S issues. All coins feature reeded edges and the standard Washington obverse and heraldic eagle reverse designs. The lot also includes two aluminum-framed transport cases with foam-lined slots specifically designed for holding professionally graded (slabbed) coins. One smaller case features a beige textured exterior with three internal rows, and one larger silver-tone case features five internal rows. Additionally, a separate Statehood Quarter collection folder (2004-2008 Volume II) is included, which is largely empty. No professionally graded or slabbed coins are included in this lot.
Condition report:
The silver quarters exhibit a range of conditions from circulated to uncirculated. Various specimens show natural toning, ranging from light golden hues to darker oxidation, along with typical surface contact marks and varying degrees of remaining mint luster. The Littleton album and Statehood folder show light shelf wear and handling. Both aluminum transport cases exhibit external scuffs, surface soiling, and light oxidation on the metal latches and corners. The foam interiors of the cases show minor dust accumulation.
