This collection consists of eight vintage comic books published by Marvel Comics Group, primarily representing the Bronze Age period. The group includes issues from the first volume of Ms. Marvel (1977) and the first volume of Captain Marvel (1978-1979), along with a 1989 giant-size special. Included in the lot are Ms. Marvel #5 (May 1977) featuring the Vision with cover art by Ed Hannigan and Joe Sinnott; Ms. Marvel #6 (June 1977) featuring Grotesk with cover art by Dave Cockrum and Joe Sinnott; and Ms. Marvel #7 (July 1977) featuring MODOK with cover art by Dave Cockrum and Frank Giacoia. A key issue in the collection is Ms. Marvel #9 (September 1977), which features the first appearance of Deathbird (Cal’syee Neramani). Also present is Ms. Marvel #10 (October 1977) featuring Deathbird and MODOK with cover art attributed to Keith Pollard and Frank Giacoia. The Captain Marvel issues comprise #59 (November 1978) featuring Drax the Destroyer with cover art by Dave Cockrum, and #62 (May 1979) which marks the final issue of the original series run with art by Pat Broderick and Bruce Patterson. Completing the set is Captain Marvel Giant-Size Special! #1 (November 1989) which retells the origin of the Monica Rambeau version of Captain Marvel.

Condition report:

The comics are in raw, ungraded condition and are housed in protective plastic sleeves with backing boards. General condition appears to be mid-to-high grade, typically ranging from Fine (6.0) to Very Fine (8.0). Covers maintain good gloss and vibrant colors. Minor spine stress lines (ticks) are visible on several issues, notably Ms. Marvel #10. Light corner blunting and minor edge wear are present, consistent with age and storage. No major tears, stains, or cover detachments are visible from the exterior overview.
