This collection consists of seven vintage comic books published by Archie Publications. The assembly includes four issues of Archie Giant Series Magazine and three issues of Little Archie Giant Comics. All books are in the giant format with an original cover price of 25 cents. The Archie Giant Series titles include No. 137 Archie’s Christmas Stocking featuring character ornaments on the cover, No. 167 Archie’s Christmas Stocking featuring Archie and Betty with a photograph, No. 242 Archie’s Christmas Love-In featuring the gang at the North Pole, and No. 243 Sabrina’s Christmas Magic featuring Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The Little Archie Giant Comics include the 20th Issue featuring Little Archie and the Sea-Going Dinosaur, the 30th Issue depicting a confrontation with Fangs Fogarty, and the 33rd Issue featuring Little Archie and the Mad Doctor Doom. These comics were manufactured in the United States and contain approximately 64 to 80 pages each.
Condition report:
These items are ungraded raw copies and are individually housed in protective plastic sleeves. The collection is in good to very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and handling. Visible defects include general edge wear, minor corner blunting, and spine stress lines (ticks). Issue No. 167 shows visible discoloration and staining along the bottom left edge of the front cover. Issue No. 137 exhibits visible spine wear and a small tear at the bottom edge. The Little Archie issues show some light foxing. All covers remain attached.
