A collection of five vintage comic books published by Marvel Comics Group during the mid to late 1970s Bronze Age featuring The Invaders. The group includes the premiere issue of the Giant-Size series, Giant-Size Invaders number 1 (June 1975), with cover art signed by Frank Robbins and John Romita Sr. The regular series issues included are number 5 (March 1976) featuring the Red Skull; number 12 (January 1977), which is a key issue featuring the first appearance of the character Spitfire; number 28 (May 1978) featuring the Kid Commandos; and number 33 (October 1978) featuring a Thor versus Sub-Mariner cover. All items are sold raw and are housed in protective plastic sleeves with cardboard backing boards.
Condition report:
Ungraded. The collection consists of raw copies exhibiting general signs of age and handling consistent with mid-grade specimens of the era. Observable wear includes minor spine stress marks, light edge wear, and corner blunting. Giant-Size Invaders number 1 shows slight yellowing to the cover edges. Issue number 33 exhibits creasing near the spine and along the right edge. Covers remain attached, and no major missing pieces or significant tears are visible through the protective sleeves.
