This lot comprises three vintage comic books published by National Periodical Publications (DC Comics) during the Silver Age. The collection includes Superman issue number 131 (August 1959), Superman’s Girl Friend Lois Lane issue number 60 (October 1965), and World’s Finest Comics issue number 173 (February 1968). Superman #131 features an "Imaginary Story" titled Superman’s Future Wife! and introduces the "Super-Twins, " with cover art attributed to Curt Swan and Stan Kaye. Superman’s Girl Friend Lois Lane #60 features the story The Tables Are Turned! depicting Lois Lane and Lana Lang in suspended animation, with cover art attributed to Curt Swan and George Klein. Condition report:
All three comics are in well-handled, mid-to-low grade condition. Common defects across the lot include significant spine wear with color breaking, numerous creases, and edge chipping. Superman #131 exhibits heavy wear with deep creasing, spine stress, and a small area of paper loss at the bottom left corner, along with contemporary ink writing on the cover. World\'s Finest #173 shows a visible spine roll, discoloration, and wear along the right-hand edge. Lois Lane #60 displays typical handling wear, creasing, and edge-related issues. The items are raw and have not been professionally graded.
