This lot consists of a collection of four issues from the DC Comics Presents series published by DC Comics, featuring Superman team-ups with various characters from the DC Universe. The collection includes issue number 9 (May 1979) featuring Wonder Woman and the Ice Monster, with cover art by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano; issue number 40 (December 1981) featuring Metamorpho The Element Man and a backup story about the original Air Wave, with cover art by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano; issue number 71 (July 1984) featuring Bizarro, with cover art by Eduardo Barreto; and issue number 73 (September 1984) featuring The Flash, with cover art by Carmine Infantino and Klaus Janson. All items are standard direct-sale or newsstand editions. Each comic is individually housed in a protective plastic bag with a cardboard backing.
Condition report:
The comics are in raw, unslabbed condition. Based on a visual inspection through the protective packaging, the issues appear to be in good condition with minor spine stress marks and light corner blunting. Issue number 71 displays a small area of surface wear and discoloration on the right side of the front cover near the character Bizarro. All covers appear to be securely attached. Internal pages have not been inspected for completeness or tanning.
