A group of four comic books from the first solo series featuring the character Glory, a character created by Rob Liefeld. The collection includes issue number 14, published by Image Comics, and issue numbers 17, 18, and 19, published by Maximum Press. These issues date to approximately 1996 and illustrate the transition of the title between Liefeld imprint publishers. Issue 14 features a cover attributed to the Liefeld studio with a signature present on the lower right. Issue 17 features cover art signed by Liefeld, Stucker, and Yu. Issues 18 and 19 feature cover art by artist Ed Benes, with the signature and date of 1996 visible on the front. Issue 19 also includes the signature of the colorist, Sina. Each comic book is individually housed in a protective plastic sleeve with a cardboard backing board.
Condition report:
The comic books are in ungraded, raw condition and appear to be in mid-to-high-grade condition based on visual inspection through the protective packaging. The covers retain a high gloss and saturated color. Visible wear includes minor spine stress lines and light corner blunting, most notably on the lower right corner of issue number 19. No significant creases, staining, or structural defects are immediately apparent.
