A collection of eight hand-signed photographs featuring legendary figures in women’s collegiate and professional basketball. The group includes several Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductees and highly decorated coaches. Most items feature personal inscriptions.
Pat Summitt: A color photograph of the University of Tennessee Lady Vols head coach posing with multiple NCAA National Championship trophies. The print includes a 2007 NCAA Women’s National Champions logo. Hand-signed in black marker with the inscription: To Zachary Go Lady Vols! Pat Summitt.
Geno Auriemma: A color photograph of the UConn head coach speaking at a podium bearing the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame logo. Hand-signed in black marker with the inscription: To Zachary Best Wishes Geno Auriemma.

Muffet McGraw: Two black and white photographs. One is a promotional headshot signed in black marker: Muffet McGraw. The second is a 1996-97 University of Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team photo, signed in black marker in the upper left corner: Muffet McGraw.
Sherri Coale: Two color photographs. One is a close-up headshot signed in silver-toned marker: Sherri Coale. The second shows the coach with a collection of trophies and is signed twice in black marker, with one signature including the inscription: To Zachary Sherri Coale.
The photographs are primarily standard promotional or press-style prints. No third-party authentication from services such as PSA/DNA or JSA is present.
Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The photographs are in good overall condition with clear, legible signatures. The ink remains bold and well-preserved. There are no significant visible creases, tears, or stains on the surfaces of the prints.
