A set of ten DC Action Comics No. 1000 variant cover issues, dated June 2018, produced to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Superman. This collection features eight decade-themed variant covers with artwork by Steve Rude (1930s), Michael Cho (1940s), Dave Gibbons (1950s), Michael Allred (1960s), Jim Steranko (1970s), Joshua Middleton (1980s), Dan Jurgens (1990s), and Stanley Artgerm Lau (2000s). The set is completed by an Olivier Coipel 2010s decade variant cover and a white blank sketch variant cover. Each issue is an 80-page giant with a printed cover price of $7.99 and bears the 80 Years Superman anniversary logo. The comics are printed on high-gloss paper and are staple-bound. They are currently stored in individual protective bags and presented together in a clear plastic sleeve.
Condition report:
The comics appear to be in excellent, unread condition. The covers are flat with sharp corners and vibrant color. No visible spine stress, surface scuffs, or significant creasing is noted through the protective packaging.
