BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This is a vintage mid-century American football bobblehead nodder figurine manufactured in Japan. The composition or papier-mache figure depicts a football player wearing a red jersey adorned with a gold foil letter H on the chest. The uniform is completed with black pants, black shoes, and a black helmet featuring a single red center stripe. The player is depicted in a standing pose holding a brown football under his right arm. The figurine is mounted on a circular green base. The underside of the base features a stamped mark in dark ink reading PATENT PENDING JAPAN within a circular indentation.
Condition report:
The bobblehead is in good vintage condition showing age-appropriate wear. There are minor paint chips and scuffs, notably along the lower rim of the green base and on the helmet. The gold foil letter H decal is largely intact with some slight lifting along the edges. The nodding mechanism remains functional, and there are no signs of major cracks or structural repairs.
