Lot 317:
Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A collection of vintage American football trading cards, primarily Topps issues dating from 1955 through the late 1980s. The group includes several key cards and Hall of Fame players. From the 1955 Topps All-American set, cards for Art Donovan (number 1) and Ben Agajanian (number 22) are present. Notable rookie cards include a 1983 Topps Marcus Allen (number 294), a 1982 Topps Cris Collinsworth (number 35), and a 1987 Topps Doug Flutie (number 45). Multiple cards of Hall of Fame players are included, such as Franco Harris (1973, 1975, and 1976 Topps), Jack Lambert (1976 and 1977 Topps), and Fran Tarkenton (1977 Topps Record Breaker). Other represented stars include Charlie Taylor, Leroy Kelly, Earl Morrall, Bubba Smith, Ken Anderson, and Brian Sipe. The cards display various Topps set designs, including the 1972 arched border, the 1973 circular portrait, and the helmet and pennant motifs of the mid-1970s. All cards are individually protected in clear plastic top-loaders or semi-rigid sleeves. Many of the protective holders feature adhesive price labels on the exterior.
Condition report:
The cards are in mixed, ungraded condition, generally ranging from Good to Near Mint. Consistent with their age, some cards exhibit corner softening, light edge wear, and off-centering. The 1955 Art Donovan card number 1 shows visible corner wear and a minor crease on the upper left edge. Surfaces appear largely clean. Some external card holders show scuffing or sticker residue.
