BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Five Marvel Comics Star Brand New Universe Issues
This lot consists of five comic books from the Star Brand series, published by Marvel Comics as part of the New Universe line in the late 1980s. The collection features key issues from the series run, including two copies of issue number 1 (October 1986), which marks the premiere of the title and the first appearance of Ken Connell as Star Brand. Also present is one copy of issue number 11 (January 1988) and two copies of issue number 17 (January 1989), the final issue of the original series featuring the Return to The Pitt storyline. The cover art is credited to John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson, with their signatures visible on the covers as JRJR + AW. The issues are Direct Edition copies; the number 1 issues feature a small New Universe logo in the UPC box, while the number 17 issues include printed barcodes. Each book is presented in a raw, unslabbed state.
Condition report:

The number 17 issues exhibit minor color breaking along the spines and light tanning to the page edges at the margins. Surface scuffing is visible on some dark ink areas of the covers.
