Description

A vintage 1960s bobblehead nodder figure depicting the character Lieutenant Fuzz from Mort Walker’s comic strip Beetle Bailey, licensed by King Features Syndicate. The figure is constructed of hollow-cast composition material, hand-painted and depicting the character standing in a green military uniform with a red and yellow garrison cap on a black rectangular base. The front of the base features hand-painted white lettering reading Lt. Fuzz. The head is attached to the body with an internal metal spring bobbling mechanism.
Condition report:
The figure is in poor to fair condition, exhibiting significant structural damage. A large, deep crack runs from the top of the red hat, down the left side of the face, and across the back of the head. There is visible cracking, separation, and paint loss around the neck collar area where the head connects to the internal spring mechanism. General surface wear, paint chipping, and minor scuffing are present throughout. No original packaging is present.
