BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Vintage Comic Books. NOW Comics, Marvel Comics, and Disney Comics, 1979-1991.
This collection comprises an assortment of vintage American comic books, primarily from the late 1970s through the early 1990s. Included are several issues from the NOW Comics Speed Racer series: Speed Racer 1 (September 1987), Speed Racer 7 (March 1988), and two copies of Speed Racer Special 1 (February 1988). Marvel Comics titles featured in the collection include Bill and Ted’s Excellent Comic Book 1 (December 1991), Time Bandits 1 (A Marvel Movie Special, February 1982), and Battlestar Galactica 1 (March 1979). The Battlestar Galactica issue is contained within an original unopened Whitman Product multi-pack sealed bag as distributed by Western Publishing Company Inc. Additionally, the collection includes Disney Comics’ Roger Rabbit’s Toontown 1 (August 1991). The items are standard stapled softcover periodicals. Cover art features various signatures and markings including STRACR 87, MORGAN, Larkin/e 91, and K.J. 1-28-91. Several issues are housed in individual protective plastic sleeves with backing boards.
Condition report:
Overall condition is Good to Very Good. The Roger Rabbit\'s Toontown 1 issue shows handwritten numeric notation 94201 and adhesive sticker residue on the upper right cover corner. The Battlestar Galactica multi-pack remains factory-sealed in its original distributor\'s plastic packaging, which exhibit minor wrinkling. General wear across the collection includes minor spine stress, light edge rubbing, and slight corner blunting consistent with use and age.
