This lot comprises six vintage publications published by Fawcett Publications between the early 1950s and mid-1970s. The group features five Dennis the Menace titles by artist Hank Ketcham and one issue of Life Story magazine. The specific issues include Dennis the Menace and Joey No. 14 (1974), Dennis the Menace and Joey No. 22 (1974), Dennis the Menace Highlights (Bonus Magazine No. 90, 1971), Dennis the Menace in Mexico (Bonus Magazine No. 104, 1972), and Dennis the Menace Bi-Centennial Special! (Bonus Magazine No. 153, 1975). The final item is Life Story No. 23, an early 1950s magazine featuring a photographic cover of an archer and stories titled Panic, Love’s Last Gesture, and Case for Heartbreak. Dennis the Menace issues show moderate wear including light edge wear, tanned paper, corner blunting, and light spine stress. Issue No. 22 shows surface soiling. Life Story No. 23 exhibits significant wear with spine chipping, creasing, and edge tears. None of the items are professionally graded.
