BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Two Silver Age Science Fiction Comic Books: Undersea Agent #1 and Strange Planets #18

This lot contains two vintage science fiction comic books from the Silver Age.

The first comic is Undersea Agent #1, published by Tower Comics in January 1966. This is a key issue featuring the origin and first appearance of Lt. Davey Jones, known as the Undersea Agent, and the villain Dr. Fang. The cover art depicts an underwater battle involving the protagonist and green-skinned adversaries. The top margin includes the series banner: Another Tower Comics Super-Action Thriller. The cover price is 25 cents.

The second comic is Strange Planets #18, published by I.W. Publishing under the Super Comics brand, circa 1964. The cover features an empress and several underwater figures in diving suits. It includes the stories Frog Men Against Belzar and A Himalayan Journey. The cover price is 12 cents. Both comics are raw, ungraded copies housed in individual protective plastic sleeves with backing boards.

Condition report:

The condition of the two books varies significantly. Undersea Agent #1 is in mid-grade condition, showing moderate spine stress, light corner wear, and visible tanning or foxing along the right and bottom edges of the front cover. The cover remains attached and retains good color. Strange Planets #18 is in low-grade condition due to a prominent area of surface tearing and paper loss affecting the S and T of the title logo. It also displays heavy spine stress, multiple color-breaking creases, blunted corners, and general surface wear.
