This lot comprises a collection of eight DC Comics published between 1978 and 1990, featuring the characters Hawkman and Adam Strange. The group include several staple-bound issues and a complete square-bound prestige format limited series. Included are The Official Hawkman Index issues #1 and #2 (1986, Independent Comics Group/ICG) featuring cover art by Joe Kubert. The DC Comics Showcase Presents… Hawkman issues include #98 (July 1978), milestone anniversary issue #100 (September 1978), and #101 (June 1979), which is the final issue of the original Showcase series. All three Showcase covers feature art by Joe Kubert. The Adam Strange prestige format series comprises Books One, Two, and Three (1990, DC Comics). This complete limited series is written by Richard Bruning with interior and cover art by Andy Kubert and Adam Kubert. Each Adam Strange cover features the signature of Andy Kubert.
Condition report:

Showcase issues exhibit standard signs of age and shelf wear, including minor spine stress lines and blunted corners. The square-bound Adam Strange prestige format books appear in very good to near-mint condition with clean spines and sharp corners. All issues appear complete with covers firmly attached.
