This lot features a copy of Sergio Aragones’ Groo issue number 9, published by Image Comics with a cover date of September 1995. The front cover features artwork by Sergio Aragones and is hand-signed by him in black ink. The signature is located horizontally across the lower portion of the cover art. Accompanying the comic is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Northeast Comic Exchange, Inc., bearing certificate number 055 M. The certificate contains handwritten inscriptions identifying the item as Groo #9 signed by Sergio Aragones at Motor City Comicon. The printed header of the certificate is dated March 24-26, 1995, and it bears the signature of Gerry George.
Condition report:
The comic is in raw, ungraded condition. The front cover displays vibrant colors and well-preserved gloss. Several small spine stress lines are visible along the left edge of the spine. The corners appear relatively sharp with minimal blunting. The interior of the book has not been inspected.
