This collection consists of several issues of Tournaments Illuminated, the quarterly magazine published by the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA). The group includes issue no. 51 (Summer 1979), no. 52 (Fall 1979), no. 53 (Winter 1979, Costuming Issue), no. 54 (Spring 1980, Music, Verse, and Courtly Love), no. 55 (Summer 1980, Strong Drink and Battle), no. 56 (Fall 1980), and no. 59 (Summer 1981), along with an additional unnumbered issue featuring a Celtic knotwork cover design.
