This lot features a Holmes-style hand-held stereoviewer by Underwood and Underwood. The device includes a stamped aluminum hood decorated with foliate engraving and the manufacturer mark listing locations in New York, London, Toronto, and Ottawa-Kansas. It is constructed with a wooden frame, a turned wooden handle, and a sliding T-bar card holder, with red velvet trim around the glass lenses. Also included is a commemorative award in the form of a tapered black stone obelisk, likely marble or granite. The award is etched with gilt-filled text for The Sanctuary 2005 Men’s Member-Member Flight Champion. The collection is completed by two costume necklaces.
