Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A vintage ceramic promotional coin bank depicting a stylized football player, attributed to designer Fred Kail. The figure represents Lincoln Northeast High School of Lincoln, Nebraska, and is fashioned in a black and white uniform with the jersey number 00 painted on the front and back. The player is depicted wearing a black helmet with a single white stripe and a single-bar metal facemask, holding a brown football between his feet on the base. A coin slot is located on the upper back and shoulders of the figure.
The front of the cream-colored rectangular base features the black printed inscription: LINCOLN NORTHEAST HIGH SCHOOL. Condition report:
The ceramic bank is in good vintage condition, exhibiting minor wear consistent with age and use. There are small flecks of paint loss and wear on the black cold-painted areas of the jersey, helmet, and cleats. The cream-colored base shows light overall surface grime, minor discoloration, and faint scuffing on the bottom. No chips, cracks, or structural restorations are visible. The original gold foil sticker and rubber stopper remain intact on the underside.
