A collection of six REPRINT Vintage basketball trading cards featuring Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls, including significant releases from the mid-to-late 1980s by Fleer and Star Co. The assortment includes a 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan #57 Rookie Card, a 1984-85 Star Co. Michael Jordan #101 Rookie Card, and a 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan Sticker #8 rookie-year insert. Also included are a 1986 Star Co. Court Kings Michael Jordan #18, a 1987-88 Fleer Michael Jordan #59, and a 1988-89 Fleer Michael Jordan #17. The cards feature classic photography of Jordan in various action poses and portrait shots. Each card is presented raw in a plastic top-loader and has not been submitted to a third-party grading service for certification. Condition report:
The collection shows various centering issues common to these sets. The 1986-87 Fleer #57 is off-center top-to-bottom with a very narrow top border and is also off-center left-to-right. The 1986-87 Fleer Sticker #8 is heavily off-center left-to-right. The 1987-88 Fleer #59 is off-center top-to-bottom and left-to-right. Corners across the collection generally appear sharp to minimally touched when viewed through the protective holders. Edges appear clean with standard cuts for the respective manufacturers. No significant surface wear or creasing is visible through the plastic.
