A collection of Silver Surfer comic books from the third volume of the series, published by the Marvel Entertainment Group. The collection includes issue number 1 (July 1987), featuring a guest appearance by the Fantastic Four, as well as issue numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14. Each issue is a standard softcover format comic book with illustrated covers depicting the title character and various cosmic entities. The cover artwork includes contributions from noted artists such as Marshall Rogers. The issues display their original retail prices, ranging from 75 cents to 1.25 dollars, and are individually preserved in protective plastic bags.
Condition report:
The comic books are in raw, uncertified condition and are individually stored in protective plastic bags with cardboard backing boards. Visual inspection through the sleeves indicates the collection is in high-grade condition with bright, vibrant cover colors and generally sharp corners. Spines appear straight with minimal visible stress lines or color breaks. Issue 1 shows very light shelf wear and minor color rubbing along the right-side vertical edge. A definitive grade would require inspection outside of the protective packaging.
