Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A group of three original Silver Age comic books from the Marvel Comics series The Amazing Spider-Man. The lot includes issue #73 (June 1969), issue #74 (July 1969), and issue #79 (December 1969). Issue #73, titled The Web Closes!, features an appearance by Man-Mountain Marko. Issue #74 contains the story The Fantastic Secret of the Petrified Tablet!. Issue #79, titled To Prowl No More!, is a key issue featuring the first appearance of the character Prowler (Hobie Brown). All three covers feature artwork by John Romita Sr., with his signature visible within the art. The comics are printed on newsprint with stapled spines. The items are in used, mid-to-low grade condition. All issues show varying degrees of spine stress with color breaking, edge wear, and corner blunting. Issue #73 has a notable tear and small missing piece along the bottom edge near the spine. Issue #74 shows surface creasing and multiple spine ticks. Issue #79 exhibits a prominent vertical crease on the right side of the cover, along with visible surface soiling and toning. Pages show age-related yellowing and tanning on the interior covers.
