BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Five Marvel Triple Action Avengers Comic Books
This collection consists of five vintage comic books from the Marvel Triple Action series, published by Marvel Comics Group between 1972 and 1975. The series primarily features reprints of classic stories from The Avengers. Included in the lot is Issue 6 (October 1972), which reprints Avengers 12 with appearances by Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Mole Man, and the Red Ghost. There are two copies of Issue 14 (October 1973), which reprints Avengers 19 featuring the debut of the Swordsman. Issue 20 (September 1974) reprints Avengers 26 featuring Captain America, the Wasp, Hawkeye, and Attuma. Issue 23 (January 1975) reprints Avengers 29 featuring the return of Goliath, along with Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. Cover art for these issues is attributed to Gil Kane, Joe Sinnott, John Romita Sr., and Dan Adkins. Each issue includes the Approved by the Comics Code Authority seal. Issue 23 is stored in a protective plastic bag with a backing board.
Condition report:
The collection is in raw, unslabbed condition and displays typical signs of age for mid-grade vintage comics. Visible defects include spine stress marks (ticks), color-breaking creases, and light edge wear across the issues. One copy of Issue 14 exhibits more significant wear, including edge chipping and light foxing or staining along the left spine edge. Issue 23, viewed through the protective plastic, appears to be in mid-to-high grade condition with minor spine ticks. Covers appear attached on all copies, and no major interior defects are visible from the exterior.
