BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A collection of seven vintage comic book and publishing promotional posters produced for retailer in-store display between 1987 and 1990. The assortment includes posters from various publishers featuring work by notable comic book artists and writers. Included in the collection is one Facts on File promotional poster for The Encyclopedia of Super Villains by Jeff Rovin, featuring a dynamic scene of various villains and a central purple demon illustrated and signed by artist Ernie Colon. One Blackthorne Publishing, Inc. poster titled Opening New Doors, dated 1987, features characters from the Blackthorne Timeline Color Comics line with artwork signed by P. Francis and Jim Starlin. Two identical copies of a First Comics, Inc. poster titled The First Choice / The Best Choice! dated 1987 are present, featuring characters such as Nexus, Badger, Dreadstar, and American Flagg with artwork signed by P. Craig Russell. Condition report:
The posters are in very good vintage condition. All items are folded as originally issued for distribution. Observable wear includes creasing and light color loss along the fold lines, along with minor corner blunting and edge wear consistent with age and intended retail use. No significant tears, foxing, or major staining is visible.
