A collection of United States commemorative postal materials housed in two multi-ring binders. The primary binder, titled America Remembers the World at War 1941-1945, contains the USPS 50th anniversary World War II commemorative series issued between 1991 and 1995. Featured items include full commemorative sheets such as 1941: A World at War (Scott #2559) and 1945: Victory at Last (Scott #2981), alongside numerous cacheted First Day Covers (FDCs) with circular date stamp (CDS) cancellations from various locations including Washington, D.C. and Phoenix, AZ. The second binder contains a series of 1991 To the Heroes of Desert Storm FDCs (Scott #2533) representing various military branches, 1980 World War II Victory Collection covers, and 1948 Four Heroic Chaplains issue covers (Scott #956). The stamps are multicolored and perforated, presented in protective plastic sleeves.
