This lot consists of the first two issues of the 1968 magazine-sized series The Spectacular Spider-Man published by Marvel Comics Group. Issue #1 (July 1968) features the story titled Lo, This Monster! with cover art by John Romita Sr. Issue #2 (November 1968) is noted on the cover as being Now In Full Color! and features a battle against the Green Goblin. The cover of issue #2 bears the signature Romita in the bottom left corner. Both issues display the Comics Code Authority seal and an original 35 cent cover price. The magazines are oversized compared to standard comic books of the era. Each item is individually bagged and boarded for protection.

Items are in uncertified, raw condition. Issue #1 shows light spine stress, minor edge wear, and a faint date stamp on the upper-left cover margin. Issue #2 displays more pronounced spine stress with color breaks, minor chipping along the top edge, and some light surface creasing. Both issues retain vibrant cover colors and appear complete.
