This lot features a complete six-issue run of the original Silver Age comic book series The Hawk and the Dove, published by DC Comics under the National Comics Group brand. The collection spans from September 1968 to July 1969 and includes issues No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Issue No. 1 (September 1968) is a key issue representing the first appearance of the solo series, featuring cover art by Steve Ditko. Issue No. 2 (November 1968) also features cover art by Steve Ditko. Issues No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 feature cover art by Gil Kane. Issue No. 6 (July 1969) concludes the original series run. No major tears or cover detachments are visible.
